Rosie – Sweet, Steady Mare with a Great Foundation

Rosie is curious, kind, and eager for attention. She stands quietly for grooming, leans in for scratches, and clearly enjoys time with people. Under saddle, Rosie has three balanced gaits, clean flying changes, and responds well to lateral aids like leg yields. She has experience in both dressage and jumping, making her a versatile partner.

Polite in turnout and well-mannered in the barn, Rosie gets along with her neighbors, even showing superb composure around the resident stallion. She does crib, though we have not yet tried a collar. Returned to our care through no fault of her own, Rosie has been well-loved and well-handled, and is now ready to find her next home.
